  3. NBC's Keir Simmons was hosted by Russia, boarded a train in Russia, then rode in it to cross into Ukraine's Crimea without Ukraine's permission, then interviewed "people" now living under Putin's rule. What the heck did you think 100% of the people there now would say? How the heck did Keir think Ukraine would react to this unapproved "secret" mission? Both NBC and Keir Simmons should be held to account. And since Keir obviously thinks there's nothing wrong with his one-sided report, he should definitely go interview Putin's happy campers in Tskhinvalli, South Ossettia, Republic of Georgia to see how happy they are living in Russian occupied territory there.I assure you they're ALL very happy, since no one but pro-Putin residents live there now. But this time, Keir should also go a few miles down the highway to interview the over 100,000 "internally displaced people" Putin violently booted from their happy Georgian homes in 2008. Violent war-mongering "Occupiers," whether in Georgia or Crimea or the Donbass, only continue to exist because of the ignorance, apathy and occupier's propaganda perpetuated in other free democracies who STILL don't understand that the ONLY way to stop Putin is to STOP PUTIN! Meanwhile, the recent far right autocracy-leaning takeover of NBC's network news is well-noted with Keir's little Russian train ride to "occupied" Crimea. This wasn't a coup de gras interview, Keir. You offered no grace to those who suffered and continue to suffer by Putin's hand. This was just YOU offering aid and comfort and support and more propaganda for yet another Putin coup. How DO you sleep?

  4. American media to support Russian propaganda, lol

  5. Victory for russia 🇷🇺

  6. Latinos with Russia! 🇲🇽🇷🇺🤝

  7. Putin has turned Crimea into a military base from which he kills civilians in Ukraine, destroys their property and public infrastructure. Certainly, it cannot continue like this. And Putin's bases and terrorists will be destroyed.
Путин превратил Крым в военную базу, с которой убивает мирных жителей Украины, уничтожает их имущество и общественную инфраструктуру. Безусловно, далее так не может продолжаться. И базы и террористы путина будут уничтожены.

  8. 'RUSSIA DEFEATED USA INSIDE UKRAINE' SAY IT.

  9. By fact Russia retake the Ukrainian-annexed territory. Crimea can be Russian or Turkish by 1774 Treaty of Küçük Kaynarca. Where is Ukraine in 1774 ?

  10. ukraine took the wrong step from the very beginning

  11. People in Crimea voted to return to Russia. It happened because of the coup in Ukraine.
How can Ukraine think they gonna change what people want ?
For Ukraine the terroritory is more important than its people ?????
Where is that favorite word DEMOCRACY the west likes to use?

  12. And chances are the people you talked to there were relocated there from Russia back in 2014……

  13. Crimea is Ukraine. Always will be. No one will ever fear the Russians again.

  14. I’m not for funding this war! Period!

  17. Russia is all in on bringing their misery to Ukraine and if anything is left of Putin's ragtag army, more pain and death to eastern Europe.

  18. Bakhmut – historical reference:
The first official mention of Bakhmut dates from 1571, when Ivan the Terrible – Ivan IV, in order to protect the southern border of the Russian State from Crimean–Nogai slave raids, ordered the creation of border fortifications along the Seversky Donets rivers. The settlement was described then as a guard-fort named after the nearby Bakhmutovka River, a tributary of the Seversky Donets.

In 1547, Ivan IV assumed the title of “Tsar and Grand Duke of all Rus", The Tsar of the "Great Russian Tsardom", as it was called in the coronation document, by Constantinople Patriarch Jeremiah II and in numerous official texts.
    Attention!
Ukraine didn't exist yet. Hundred years later, on the territory of Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth, there was a Cossack rebellion that took place between 1648 and 1657.
Bogdan Khmelnitsky declared himself as the ruler of Ruthenian State. But
being the main leader of the uprising, Bohdan Khmelnytskyi was not able to declare independence because he was not a legitimate.

Cossack rebellion was known as "Khmelnytsky Uprising or Khmelnytsky Massacre":
"The insurgency was accompanied by mass atrocities committed by "Cossacks against the civilians, especially against the Roman Catholic clergy and the Jews.
Estimates of deaths….were based on the chronicles of the time…..and ranging from 100,000 to 500,000"
    Wikipedia English

June 18, 1648 – the first known official letter of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi to the Tsar Alexis I, RUSSIA. it was finished: "So let the God fulfill the prophecy, which was celebrated from ancient times, to which we gave ourselves, and to the merciful feet of your royal majesty, like the lower ones, submit obediently."
Uprising resulted in a Cossacks request for protection by the Russian Tsar.

"By the "Treaty of Andrusovo" signed in 1667 between the Tsardom of Russia and the Polish – Lithuanian Commonwealth, Cossacks became integrated into the Russian Tsardom – after cossack rebellion on the territory of Poland and following Russia Polish war. Compensation from Russia to Poland Lithuania of 1,000,000 zlotych (or 200,000 rubles) was agreed for the lands of Left- bank, including Kiev, which was the territory of Poland at time, today – the part of the modern Ukraine. And! Neither representatives of the Cossack Hetmanate, nor Khmelnitsky, we're not allowed be present at the signing of the treaty.

Until the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, Ukraine had never been an independent state." Ever

  19. "Ukraine had great potential to become one of the most prosperous European countries. That is, if its leadership had chosen a political course that took into account the country’s centuries-old economic, family, cultural and religious ties with Russia.
Effective anti-corruption reforms, a certain level of autonomy for the regions with large Russian ethnic population, two state languages and neutral status with no membership in any military blocs would have made Ukraine if not a new Switzerland then definitely a happy and prosperous state. There would be no civil war and Donbass and Crimea would still be a part of Ukraine."

  23. Crimea was annexed by Russian Empire 240 years ago, when Ukraine didn't exist yet.
"In 1774, the Ottoman Empire was defeated by Catherine the Great, Russia, Crimea was traded to Russia by the Ottoman Empire as part of the treaty provisions and was annexed in 1783.
After two centuries of conflict, the Russian fleet had destroyed the Ottoman navy and the Russian army had inflicted heavy defeats on the Ottoman land forces".
And there was NO Ukraine, it simply didn't exist.
There were 12 wars between Russia and Ottoman Empire, some times Ottomans were cooperated with Great Britain, France and other Countries in the wars against Russia and – each time Crimea and Northern Coastal land of Black Sea, were recognized as an integral part of Russia.
Catherine the Great's incorporation of the Crimea in 1783 from the defeated Ottoman Empire, increased Russia's power in the Black Sea area, and the Northern Coastal land of Black Sea, which together with Crimea was marked on the map of Russian Empire as Taurida. Cities Sevastopol, Odessa, Kherson Ochakov Mariupol to name a few, were built and developed in time of Russian Empire when Ukraine didn't exist.
Crimea was part of Russia until Nikita Khrushchev, decided to make a gift of it to Ukraine in 1954 —it was an internal transaction, meaningless politically, because in Soviet time Ukraine was an integral part of the Soviet Union"..
On the whim of Khrushchev in 1954 Crimea formally was transfered to Ukraine, and nobody ever asked people of Crimean if they liked it. And important, It was interstate transection, meaningless at the time..

  24. The rise of Ukraine. Historical reference.
    New York Times February 1918
"Dismembered Russia- Some of the Fragments"
"Out of the chaos into which Russia fell after the Revolution of the last February a new Nation now emerges – the Ukrainian People's Republic.

Canadian scholar Orest Subtelny about Ukraine:
In 1919 total chaos engulfed Ukraine. Indeed, in the modern history of Europe no country experienced such complete anarchy, bitter civil strife, and total collapse of authority as did Ukraine at this time. Six different armies-– those of the Ukrainians, the Bolsheviks, the Whites, the Entente [French], the Poles and the anarchists – operated on its territory. Kyiv changed hands five times in less than a year. Cities and regions were cut off from each other by the numerous fronts. Communications with the outside world broke down almost completely. The starving cities emptied as people moved into the countryside in their search for food."

The struggle lasted from February 1917 to November 1921 and resulted in the division of Ukraine between the Bolshevik Ukrainian SSR, Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia.

The conflict is frequently viewed as one within the framework of the Southern Front of the Russian Civil War of 1917–1922, as well as the closing stage of the Eastern Front of the First World War of 1914–1918 г."
