Guilty is the verdict. Good job men and women.
I truly think it is so typically American this. Hollywood drama. I don’t think Alex is a murderer. Fraud, yes, but that’s different than a murderer. I think someone didn’t like Alex’s son Paul because of the bad publicity around the boat accident. Human behavioral science, we people envy privileged people. We look for weakness and like juicy stories. I don’t think Alex did it either and I am just some random European who thinks… gosh.. what a show. 🤦🏻♀️ I may not like Alex because of his fraudulent behavior and him making sure that Paul not put in jail in the past, but the hate and “opinions” of everyone that came after? It’s likely that Paul was disliked by many and it gotten to a crazy person who is a nobody and likes to be in power for a moment. I mean in America, everyone has firearms. That’s just nuts. In Europe we think, humans can be fickle and therefore letting everyone have firearms is a bad idea. There are unstable people out there with a lot of envy. Simple. I am glad that I live here. And actually … I don’t believe Alex did it. Disliking is one thing. Yet facts should not care too much about feelings. You might envy their past, but if they were privileged in the past, fine, but if they did not murder, then they simply didn’t. Public opinion. That like this made up “saga” seem more special than it actually is. I think reality? Is much more tragic and a little more boring than people like to “imagine”. People hating a young dude and mommy was in the way, is highly likely. That’s the price and danger of having a privileged life. It’s common sense.
All I Can Say Is Wow
The Judge Even Said Do Not Talk This Case With Anyone Or The Other Jury People
Seeing Alex Crying Means He Cared About Paul And Maggie I Guess
As a follower of this trial I'm disgusted. I've seen what opioids have done to people in the past and what they will do to get their hands on them. I think the prosecution painted the crime scene accurately and I believe AM is guilty. Having said that I take no pleasure in that and I'm truly saddened for the rest of the family and especially for Paul and Maggie. I can only imagine what was going through her mind as she was racing to her baby that had been brutally murdered only to take her last breath in those same moments. Also, I can only imagine the stress the jury has been through but I hope they can reason through the process. I also hope they can put this behind them after all is said and done. Truly a sad sad story.
Cold as ice, guilty as hell
He should be forced to look at those crime scene photos
He Just Sits There And Writes Stuff On His Notebook And Smirks.
I Had Heard This Morning One Of The Jury People Was talking About The Case To Someone And Whoever She/He Told On One Of The Jury People. The One Who Talked About It Should Have Never Talked About The Case With Anyone. Now There Gonna Be In Trouble.
Judge is great and the prosecutor is great also
Even if Murdaugh is acquitted, he stlll faces as much as 30 years in prison for his other crimes, which would make him 94. That will give him ample time to reflect on his evil deeds. This said, it would be a travesty of justice for this master of deceit to be exonerated from the murders. But with his family's unusual influence in the area, it would not surprise me if at least one juror's judgment is tainted.
I wouldn't be surprised if this dude gets off. It's a fd up system man.
When is the federal bureau of investigation going to get involved in the crookedness this family is causing in South Carolina? Think of how many peoples lives have been at Jeopardy all to keep the Murdaughs “proctected”
He will be in prison for the rest of his life, but dang…. I hope he is convicted on this. I can’t imagine doing the harm that he did in his life.
No stone unturned, Redundant or not. Nail everything down.
Alex Murdaugh is the poster child for phony
Was as he got to smile about..? If he did that to my wife n kids you would have to sedate me to sit in court..He sits there smiling just shows you how Cold this man is…
He's guilty of stealing the money but didnt kill or tried to hide it from them..Maggie knew what he was doing and was ok with it. Paul maybe wondered but was ok with it too. I still think he didn't kill them, I think Buster did it
what about the brown clumps of hair in Maggie's hands & the DNA under her nails???🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️https://www.youtube.com/live/eKdbmOy9Kd4?feature=share 2:21:06 is where they bought up the hairs found in Maggie's hands in court! His defence must b half asleep in court doing nothing about the hairs in Maggie's hands & DNA under her nails! https://youtu.be/cAoYLD-ogQ8 to see where they talked about the dna the Time stamp to start on is 1:31:25
Good narative, water!
The bad governance has create more forum for Insecurity and financial instability, the wise ones only survive through different streams of income cause inflation isn't due to paying employees properly.
Yes u can survive taking that amount of drugs if u can access the money and function AT an extremely higher level than u can sober especially if you have been addicted as long as he has been it's called functional addiict
Woman who are living low risk lifestyle rarely get killed by someone other than a spouse. The state has put Alex at the crime scene. They have shown that he lied multiple times about being at the crime scene. They showed that he owned the weapons used in the murders that are now missing. They have shown that the clothes he was wearing are missing. They have shown that he had massive financial motive to kill them both. They have shown that he will lie to and steal from anyone.
Alex thought that his family connections would keep him from being charged in the case and if only local law enforcement had been involved, he likely never would have been charged but the fact that the state special investigations unit was called in, he lost influence over the direction of the investigation.
Alex is not as smart as he thinks he is. He is did a poor job of planning these murders and I hope that the jury looks at the facts presented with the phone and car data along with his lies and the weapon access and realize that there is no other person that would have committed these murders.
Just look at the defendant’s eyes.
BRAVO for the states closing argument..a couple of things though..i think the jurors needed to hear more about the motive at the end..why would he kill his wife and son..also i would have said that most killers get rid of the evidence ie: clothes..guns ect..and in some cases bodies are never found as well as the murder weapons..but there is too many circumstantial evidence that is proven that he commited the murders and was there. It was brought up before that there was a large death insurance policy on Maggie…not as much as Alex..but substantial enough to get Alex out of his financial mess..also the fact of motive is that Maggie and Paul just found out he was back on the pills again and were confronting him and upset..along with him killing them to take all eyes off him and his financial demise ..that he was getting terminated from his high paying..high power attorney firm and was getting ready to be exposed. Now time to listen to the BS from the defense on how two 4ft 2 murders killed his wife and kid. UGH
All I want to know is why Henry Winkler and Jay Leno are sitting in the audience at this trial!?!? 😂😂😂😂😂
moral of the story: dont drive a car or bring your cell phone to commit a crime.

@443 timestamp after the prosecutor figures out everything alex had been doing, you can read Alex's lips to his cronie attorney say, can you believe that? Can you believe that?
Knowing full well that prosecutor has his actions pegged
He's so GUILTY HE'S SICKENING
Who would go into a property alone to shoot someone when they don’t know if anyone else is near or coming into that area.
Also, gun shot is very loud. If you are a few minutes away, you would hear it.
To check 2 people pulse, it going to take awhile especially walking from one person to another; just in a few seconds is not enough. So much lies!
Why Alex went to see his mom alone without his wife and son? Why did these 2 people meet Alex at the property? Even an average person would have multiple security camera at their property. Why no security cameras?
For Paul to recorded his father twice a day, did he know something was up?
If you listen to other legal experts discussing the prosecution, it’s easy for them to criticize their case and claims, however THE first opening statement made by the prosecution was that this is a very difficult case and that is why they had sooo many people working on their team because of who he was ( Being a lawyer & prosecutor) but also bc there were so many factors that were involved. If I were on the jury…. I would vote GUILTY. I went into this not knowing about everything, I obviously seen different things but never really took an interest or had any opinion, so I had a complete clean slate to hear all evidence and testimony. At times it was hard to watch bc the older defense attorney is just past his time bc of all the advances in technology and understanding things… I am sure he was great during his prime but once the prosecution started to put the puzzle pieces together I understand why they presented the case the way they did…. They do not want to show their hand on everything bc they do want to catch them off guard but I think Lawyer Griffin is just beside himself bc he knows himself that the prosecution has proven enough to flip the votes to Guilty. If he isn’t found guilty…. I won’t be able to watch anything else about AM bc it will just frustrate me to much. Plus, Alex voice is freaking annoying and the rocking back and forth, the fake crying and wiping his nose and eyes is so annoying. His son not getting emotional one single time was so disrespectful… not even him sitting in the audience has he been emotional…. I just don’t get it.
Why do attorneys do these overly long boring closes ? No one is focused that long, they must know that !? Still they put everyone to sleep. How does that help ?
If local law enforcement didnt stomp around the scene like chickens with their heads cut off, literally destroying any physical evidence like footprints, which could have easily told the story of what happened there, in the sandy soft soil of SC, then this case would either not exist or be a slam dunk. Then SLED dropped the ball by not looking at the golf cart, searching Almeda, etc
12 Stevie Wonders can see this monster is GUILTY .
I am thinking the people in Hampton County are tired of the Murdaugh’s running everything. This guy is nothing but a crook and a habitual liar, thief and a murderer. Hope he gets nailed so the people of Hampton can sleep better knowing the dynasty is squashed.
Where is all the money going?
Just wondering, if the heart was hit first on Paul. Would blood pressure and volume drop then pellets go through optic nerves then head fractured? Seems possible. I also believe there was contact with killers between both victims. Maybe shirt was grabbed by Paul's killer. Maggie was probably trying to stop the shooter. That's why I think there were 2. She was hit to stop her from running. Maybe tried to call police but fumbled with phone. I think she struggled more than Paul and tried to get away. That's why so many shots. If it was 2 people they have a close enough relationship to keep quiet or maybe some day they will tell.
I can’t wait for this to become a movie
his defense attorneys are lost in the sauce by allowing him to get on the stand…mistakes were made
