Unfit players both physically and match practice wise have been selected.Those who are in red hot form are overlooked like Jaiswal Gaikwad and Rinku.Its an injustice not only to teams chances but also to those who are selected like Iyer and KL without proper ready Ness.They have been thrown into pressure cooker by directly asked to play against Pakistan.Ashwin has again been made scapegoat despite being world's no 1 test bowler.He could have been lethal in Indian conditions and also would have added variety to bowling.There is no left handed pace bowler plus no leg spinner.Jadeja will play every match so Axar could have been replaced by Ashwin.Most places were already decided few places were such where selectors could have shown farsightedness and wisdom but again a routine and ordinary selection.
Sanju has nothing to proov in ODI
But what has sky and Tilak did…

Still we are missing some keys like left arm fast bowler, Right arm off spinning allrounder. I understand why Yuzi is not selected, ODI format has changed a lot, teams now have batsmen till no 9. Yuzi is only offering leg spin and is sometimes becomes predictable to the batsmen with his line-length.
Many people are posting their support for their favourite players, and IPL enhanced this favouritism, although it was there to some extent before too. Just because an experienced allrounder Ben Stokes came into England team for team balance, Harry Brook didn`t get a chance despite showing consistency and fast scoring in recent days (noted he had a poor IPL year), but no uproar was seen in Eng. No noise in Australia when Marnus was not included in Squad. Here in India, this ingrained favouritism towards the players is dominating the spirit of the bigger picture that is rooting for the Indian team's victory. I really wish BCCI should discourage IPL team franchise PRs and fan clubs from engaging with Indian team activities. For Instance, yesterday, I saw Lucknow Supergiants posted a tweet on KL Rahul`s comeback by posing him as a Superhero (resembling Batman costume). These type of cringe posts in the context definitely enrages fans of other key players, such as Sanju Samson, Ashwin etc, who were not able to be part of the team. I don't see the point of IPL team PRs being active year-round and rooting for their "buyouts", literally feels like they own them.
Perhaps it is a sign of BCCI`s downfall for the sake of money! Years to come will decide the prominence of ICC and BCCI.

India is weakening bowling to accomodate non performing batsmen.
Always giving importance to batting thats why they did not play Chala in last t20 wcup also. I think it might back fire not playing a experience bowler like Chahal.They took kuldeep because his batting is slightly better, which is very much unfair to Chahal.

Weakness of Chahal bowling being lack of pace as per many VVIP critics
In India genuine pace bowlers like Navdeep Saini and Karthik Tyagi comes and get lost. Pace bowlers with batting abilities use to vanish just after under 19 or India A or Dileep or Ranji Trophy. What are the reasons?
Selectors doesn't have confidence to choose 15 members squad. In that case what Chahel done wrong that bad! Tons of batsman but selective spin bowlers- in India, batsmen are treated specially and bowlers are treated like labourers most of the time in general.
This is WC, not a experimental lab. Varma didn't debut yet but this guys want him in WC! if he gets selected and after that if he fails then he'd be the next scapegoat like DK, R Ashwin and Shankar.
In basis of which performance A Patel should select in The World Cup!
R Sharma and Kohli are the proven performers in their positions so don't try to fix it which isn't broken.
If H Pandeya can't hit four and six at will then he's useless, after he came back in national side _ his performance as all rounder is not at all impressive.
Positivity is good but over confidence should be avoided. For Banger, match simulation and match fitness is the same thing proves the depth of his cricketing brain. In India, cricketers are bigger than cricket itself. India doesn't understand sports, they just like some sports personalities or rather I'd say like some cricketers.
Rinku Singh instead of iyer and axar Patel would have been replaced by Chahal or ashwin..no actual threat in the middle innings bowling
Rinku Singh should have been included in place of Tilak Verma since Rinku Singh fits anywhere from no.5 to no.7 in the middle order conundrum whereas Tilak Verma is rusty at the top 🔝 order within the top 5 slots restricted outside that he's currently doesn't fit the bill as he's offers too much rigidity at the moment around the top order! I think that Rinku Singh is more layered radical batter with dexterity crafty shots at his disposal which is really watchable technical more advanced than Tilak Verma and I will sacrifice Tilak Verma's part time rudimentary off spin bowling for Rinku Singh.
