You need 35 year loans with 10 month payments not 12 to cure defaults and deficits, with equal principal and interest not interest only loans..equity needs to split at 1%or less. 2 months a year gets deferred for every year on a 30 year loan adding 5 years deferred but takes away the teired deficits because the economy functions on same percentages. And Amortization causes deficits because it withholds payments and equities..so to be fair you need to levy the time against equity and interest. Equal payments of principal and interest, not interest first. Split equity.

We've got REAL problems in this country if our government agencies are no longer accountable to our elected officials and our elected officials are no longer accountable to the people.
So Paul is going to propose an amendment that he already knows is going to get shot down. He will look good in the eyes of his constituents, but doesn't accomplish anything except for maybe helping to get reelected. Let's be honest here though, how many people receiving medicare and social security would agree to cuts of any amount and do we think the government could really do these 5% cuts and make these areas run more efficient with less revenue. I don't think either plan is best, the Freedom Caucus plan was going to go after woke ideology spending and that would help us much better, but they are greatly outnumbered. Let's see if the Freedom Caucus sticks to their word and fires McCarthy…..
Biden made a secret deal with McCarthy to keep him in power over the MAGA morons' objections in return for supporting his version of the bill with minimal cuts. I like Rand Pauls plan but I think maybe half that to a 10 year plan at 2.5% across the board. Cut Military, Social Security, All other Social Safety Net Programs, Schools and Universities, Infrastructure, CDC, and all other government funded organizations.

We are facing economic collapse due to a number of factors, but primarily our unwillingness to have a balanced budget and for continuing to print money. We can continue to try to ignore the elephant in the middle of the room, but if the world no longer wants the dollar, because it is worthless, we will face collapse. Do we want to continue to play politics, or try to save our economy? Rand Paul is right. We want a drastic cut in spending. The Democrats are totally irresponsible.

The problem is that when it comes to cuts, Social Security will be the first cut because they don't care about all of us who paid in all those years. ALL of the senators get their big fat retirements no matter what. Why not cut those retirements? Its easy to cut when you cut someone else's money.
