So many times characters have ignored my kids and they are white. So I don't think they are being racist they truly can't stop and hug or say hi to every single child. There's hundreds of kids every day at the parks. The kids will be ok.

I know it is disappointing, but proving racial disparity is going to be tough. At the moment, we have no idea who was under that costume. It could have been a person of color. Having the person let go from the job should have been enough. In a few weeks these kids won't remember it.

Pictures say a thousand words and all these people making up all these excuses for the snub go right ahead but I see exactly what these parents saw and what these children probably felt. This park needs to either get their act together or people of color should not support them and go where they are not treated equally. People who have never been discriminated against can't make a proper judgement what it is or feels like. Let's not pretend this kind of stuff doesn't exist. Why is she giving more credence to the performers' claim that the costumes are at fault, when viewing them working the crowd clearly showed their bias towards white children!!!! Particularly when all those kids, black, white, or whatever, are nearly the same height, until they get to the black kids!!!
