Even swimming closer to shore isn't safe. Smaller sharks can work their way through shallow waters. The ocean is their territory.

What they should do at these beaches, is pump Orca sounds into the water. Those sounds are horrifying to sharks. It will keep them away.

Do humans still not understand that Sharks live in the Ocean? Why would you be this far off shore knowing that Shark attacks are common in this area? Something is going on with the human mind that baffles me. Another elderly woman was attacked and K by an alligator in South Carolina and these woman keep walking their dogs close the the edge of the bank knowing they are in no condition to outrun anything. It feels people are getting $ upid.
