Scary man, I've feel 3 earth quakes in my life but none as strong as this. It's the strangest feeling the entire world shaking. Life is such a mysterious thing its unreal. Happy new year people.
Japanese always have to be aware of potential resulting tsunami and immediately going to higher ground. So many were swept away when they decided to stay in their homes instead of evacuating the last big one in I think 2011.

These folks are so calm. We had a 7.6 earthquake in California (Northridge quake) and it was the scariest thing; resulted in so much devastation.
