It is amazing how government officials (and Americans in general) have failed HISTORY class.
Wars are not just soldiers and weapons, it requires an unlimited price tag, resources and fossil fuels.
When the US entered the war on the side of Ukraine, they have gone up against Russia and it´s allies for many years to come.
Instead of an arms race, it is an money, resource and fossil fuel race.

Any aide to any country requires a debt to be repaid. We cannot support the entire world for free with no trade off. Ukraine has a lot of resources so is there a repayment plan. A ally does not just drain you with no repayment in place. X# billions in aide for like repayment of their resources. The same goes for almost 2 decades in Iraq. It isn't as if they have nothing except to later utilize to strengthen our adversaries. We aren't the world welfare while our debt goes sky high to never repay. Our life is reduced and has been in decline. This is just ignorant.
