I’m a grown a$$ adult that should be free to buy whatever kind of car I want. I have never liked GM cars. Had a Lincoln that had a manufacturer defect they never did a recall (I learned about it because I took it in when my trunk popped open when driving) and that turned me off from Ford. I really liked the brand car I have now, bought 4 different cars, until they got involved in politics but I will never buy that brand again.
Not ever! Insurance premiums are going to be horrendous when people start parking these rolling piles of garbage in there garage’s and the batteries / electrical issues emerge and catch fire and burn houses down or even worse, people die in their homes because they can’t escape.

It depends where you live. Urban dwellers would benefit more from having a hybrid, especially in high traffic situations with little movement. Rural drivers find hybrids a pain in the rear. They are slow to warm up in cold weather affecting performance, and you rarely go slow enough to let the car go into electric, as in a high traffic situation. So, no. You keep the hybrid car.

No i would never buy a electric car wven if i could afford one where would I charge it i live in a apartment building on the 5th floor and we have no garage and im pretty sure the building manager would frown on a bunch of extension cords running all over the parking lot cant afford my electric bill now how and why would i buy a over priced electric car that gonna need extremely expensive batteries 10 years or less
