As the massive winter storm blasted so much of the U.S., many people found themselves stuck in unlikely situations. NBC News’ Tom Llamas shares the experiences of those stranded, but still helping others, including two siblings who spent over 40 hours in a Target store.

Tbh I don't get the mentality of people from USA regarding this. That storm didn't hit suddenly. Why didn't shops, jobs, roads close in advance? What the heck is wrong with you?! Why in such snowstorm, do you insist on traveling and going to work?! Like-i get you wish to be home for christmas-but this was extreme situation and each loving family member would understand and wish you to be safe. The worst thing about this is that such snowstorm hit in 20th century, I saw documentary about it few years ago. Back then people were caught off guard because of lack of warning. But this year people had the warning! And the result was no better!
They must have missed the memo about the SNOWSTORM APPROACHING!! Brilliant!
