first of all, the judge wouldn't have allowed the jurors to see the house. to get them over there, feed them, pay them and have them stay out of spectators eyes would be a disaster for the case.
second, the scene has been changed so much that it NO LONGER REPRESENTED WHAT HAPPENED THAT NIGHT.
THE JUDGE WOULD NOTTTTTTT have allowed the jurors to see it because it was NO LONGER TRUTHFUL to how the investigators found it. evidence has to be collected AND processed EXACTLY how it was found, so during the TRIAL, prosecutors can TRUTHFULLY declare and proceed with the rights of the accused.
the prosecutors would have a real problem.
they have up to EIGHT WEEKS of evidence to present to a jury.
the house is not evidence anymore. it does not matter to the case, which was SUPPOSED to happen in october 2023.

It wasn’t my child brutally murdered so I have no say- but tbh – the murders alone have traumatized that community … it’s been over a year so what does demolishing it now before trial matter? But if the lawyers have all said they don’t need it then why keep it? What a horrific situation for those parents… but unless either side wanted a jury visit why keep it? I see both sides…
I don’t think demolishing this house will do what they think it will for the students. If kolburger gets off on a technicality and the house might have provided additional evidence, the university will forever be blamed. They should keep it up till after the trial.
