The popular social media app Snapchat unveiled new tools meant to help parents monitor and protect their teens. The update comes after Snapchat has come under scrutiny with some drug dealers using social media to sell pills that contain deadly fentanyl. NBC News’ Kate Snow interviewed Nona Farahnik Yadegar, Director of Platform Policy, about how the new tools work.

Totally understand the need of the functionality. Back in the days, teens go outlaws taken cared in the town but now due to wide spread tendency of SNS, teens are no longer able to hide and be forgotten. They need the monitoring, big brothers are needed.
