The rate of inflation is not the same as the results: Cost of Living that never goes down more than a couple of points — when it's conventient for the amininstration? I bought a new VW in 1971 for about $2,300.00, (how much are they now?) so a few individual points drop does not remove much from the cost of living which will resume as soon as the government gets another "dim" idea. (They're cutting back on "bright" ideas due to climate change, maybe? 😉

Making fake food and charging too much
The utilities in Florida have gotten out of control… I went to rent a place recently and got in touch with the electric company to get my power turned on to find out what my bill and my deposit would be and they said my deposit was going to be based on the average of the last 3 months of the previous tenants in the place that I was trying to rent… I am single and live alone so if the people that lived in the place before me was a family of five I would have been paying the average of 3 months of their electric bill for one person to live there.
And corporate greed fuels part of it too

I'm a project manager so part of my job is getting quotes for jobs outside our capabilities, and I get no quoted all the time from other companies citing supply chain issues. Going on 4 years and that problem isn't fixed and hardly talked about.
