Insurance says you need to fire her. She demonstrated herself as crazy. They make billions, let the bum take the candy bar.
While firing a 70-year-old employee seems horrible, and I am disgusted by this, there are many reasons why she was fired. ALL retail outlets require their employees to not get iinvolved in any kind of confrontation with robbers.
1. If the employee got hurt, he/she can sue the company for a lot of money, plus medical expenses.
2. If the robbers got hurt, he/she can sue the company for a lot of money.
3. ANyone gets hurt if the employees get invinvolved, the company will lose a lot of money on lawyers' fees and medical expenses.
4. Whatever the robbers take, insurance will cover nd the company save a lot of money.
That is why employees should not get involve in altercations with robbers or they will get fired.
I never like Budweiser product to begin with, but I'll never drink anything made by them again.
