The real problem is that people live too far from where they work.

Sounds good. But the devil is in the details. Where do you park your car when you hop on the bus? How do you carry more than a handful of stuff? What about your children? How pain free will the buses be? Tokens, routes, fares, queues? Safety? Security? People with mobility challenges?
