Dec 24th 10 of us were going from denver to Pensacola, made it to Dallas for layover and our flight was cancelled , got a rental van and drove 9 hours from Dallas to Florida. We had to buy frontier flights to make it back to denver. Had to stay in Florida 3 extra days. 2 people in our group couldn't find any flights and had to drive a rental home to denver. It could of been worse for us for sure! but still frustrating when we paid 7k for flights they couldn't provide and another 8k in extra bnb and hotel nights,car rental to get to Florida,airport parking fees.(not inclu. Food!)i feel bad for the people who had to sleep on the floor of the airport for days and missing their bags! When they cancelled our flight in Dallas the next flight would have been 3 days later to get to Florida and we saw that one ended up being cancelled too! If we diddnt drive we would have been in Dallas for atleast a week and lost a lot of money our Airbnb in Florida and a 2k fishing charter trip. It's been so crazy!
