SpaceX launched its Starship rocket Saturday morning for the deep-space vehicle’s second test flight, during which the booster exploded after separating and the spacecraft apparently detonated after reaching space.
The mega rocket — which is designed to bring NASA astronauts to the moon — successfully lifted off from Boca Chica, Texas, under the power of all 33 engines, SpaceX officials said. The booster then successfully separated from the spacecraft before shortly experiencing what SpaceX called a “rapid unscheduled disassembly” and exploding. https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/spacex-starship-second-test-flight/story?id=105003773

Another space junk
Space x screamers…so annoying
wasting so much money after nasa had already perfected this..
Hard to believe there are still people protesting against spacex lmao 😂
Finally something beat the saturn five
Fake X
This comment section is full of non-space-nerds learning about the term “rapid unscheduled disassembly” and I love it
the people in the background sound like they are slaughter or something
Avengers, DISASSEMBLE!!!
– Captain America
With any luck that is how Elon Muskrat’s entire empire will fail.
Cartoon
This thing is worse than the hyper loop and solar roofs. Just more garbage.
Waste of money
lol the woman is truely a Replublican that can't tell the truth. She couldn't say the booster just blew up.
Imagine if people was in it bet SpaceX would still call it a success
I will forever say “they experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly” after something blows up
This news channel just wants Elon Musk to feel it's not like you report on any of the launches that are successful but as soon as one isn't successful you have to plaster it all over the place trying to make him look bad
Et moi on m'emmerde parce que ma voiture est polluante.
Karma..never celebrate early.
I'm sorry for SpaceX that their Ship didn't make it to Kauai but so proud of the targets they have managed to hit. Awesome Job Team , keep it up !
SKS still has more successful missions than SpaceX.
Just sayin' for all of us who never bought into the Musk sales pitch!
🚀 FFTTTT 💥
Obviously if you look at other news about this not the fake news and you have an education above high score I know something about physics you know they got what they needed and aborted the mission before they got into the atmosphere and got themselves in trouble.
This way they can land that stuff away from people or thousands of satellites fall into the ocean every year!
That’s our window… 2 ton objects like to fall in that window. Exploding 100 feet above ground asteroids that kill 90 million trees in a second on the other hand like to fall in the Russian window!
See they made sure they brought it down before it got too far up there and can land anywhere possibly rarely but possibly. Heaven for bid we got Chinese rocket falling 2 ton anywhere possibly we don’t want Elon musk rocket swelling and falling in final descent anywhere for two weeks possibly.
They got it up there just high enough to test the heat shields on coming down they got it up there high enough to see where everything comes apart the way it supposed to and then burn up on final descent without touching or hurting anybody isn’t that the key here. This is like Howard Hughes how big can you make it before I can’t go anymore! My money senator I put my money in that plane!
Just getting this thing off the ground is a win. Now save me a spot
So what happened to the second stage
And afterwards, everyone on the team got trophies… everyone!
I love it!
You could tell…she had that one in the chamber 😅
Were never getting off this planet. Why do you think we're thousands of light Years away from real modern life
Sounds like newyears🎉
Ummm what was the problem can't get through some kind of barrier? Keep on trying lol 😂😂😆
Dang I missed it I know it was a few days ago or was it a second launch?
An RUD was meant to be though right?
Will they ever do anything correctly? China and russia do space launches yearly…
hear all them dsukers
Seems like progress to me. You think NASA started launching rockets perfectly the first time? This isn't rockets in cub scouts.
Piece if crap
"And, as you can see, the super heavy booster just experienced a rapid unscheduled disassembly…"
Or you could just say it exploded 😂😅
Uh…where was it going?
all that fuel
Anyone with more than 5 brain cells know that the mission was absolute success
<<I LOVE your channel♥️💯 Making money is action, keeping money is behavior. Growing money is wisdom. I found this out a week ago after getting a $34,600 return on my $3,000 investment in 21 days💯.
Oh well !
How about this home owner should camp out in tent on side walk of own house!
What blows up… doesn't come down right? RIGHT??
ABC couldn’t come up with a better name for their company, but they title this clip like fools who have zero knowledge of what this 2nd only flight of the largest rocket ever built (to make it to orbit) means.
The significance of what SpaceX has learned in the demise of the two halves of this launch will prove exponential in the coming months. Musk and his team will have Starship landing on a crane within 2 years or less. 😳
Meanwhile, no other rocket making company has come close to SpaceX’s progress of reusable rocketry. A complete marvel in itself.
