The United States Department of State issued a warning about purchasing prescription drugs in Mexico, saying counterfeit medication is common and can contain dangerous ingredients. NBC News’ Aaron Gilchrist spoke to grieving parents who lost their son after he bought medication in Mexico.

Why are pharmaceuticals being laced with Fentanyl? Literally makes no sense for the seller to be killing their clients. If they want them addicted and as return clients, it shouldn't be to the point of killing them. And wouldn't it cost more to produce counterfeit pharmaceuticals to be lacing with fentanyl? Sounds counter-intuitive. I just don't get the economics of it.
