… which is at least better qualified than the
"court of public opinion" given today's foreign & domestic misinformation.
Within the Presidential Oath of Office, that position is called an "office", thus the insurrection clause applies to the POTUS too.
Two courts in Colorado HAVE found Trump guilty of involvement in the Jan 6th insurrection, though disqualification could be based on abetting, giving aid / comfort, setting afoot, Etc.. After all, the word "steal", in 'Stop the Steal', is a verb (& the timing significant).
Those who have not seen footage of the Jan 6th violence at the capital, need only find it on the .gov public site (Jan 6th commission and elsewhere).

Note: Other disqualifiers (Ex: Age, U.S. born) could be considered "anti-democratic", yet our constitution sets limitations … and disqualifying those who violated their previous oath is just one among these.
Btw: The Colorado case was brought before both courts by a group of republicans & non-affiliated voters (no democrats).
Re Judges' party affiliations: The reason Judges (& jurors where applicable) aren't expected to recuse themselves when a defendant belongs to a different party, is the assumption that they can separate their job duties from personal political opinions (although many republican Judges, some appointed by Trump, have ruled against him, only to be labeled "RINOs"). Not all who rule against Trump in our country's courts are persecuting him (or his followers), as he uniformly claims. Almost all evidence is or soon will be public facing, so I encourage personal reviews if in doubt!
How about at least missiles ceasing, even if ground searches for Hamas (& hostages) continues?
Is a 3-state solution (Gaza & West Bank separate if Palestinians prefer, possibly checked via voting?) with new elections held in Gaza (no Hamas or other terrorist groups on the ballot) an option?
Whatever decisions are made about who will rule Gaza after the war MUST be made by the Palestinians
(not like Trump's unilateral agreement for the Taliban to rule Afghanistan!), annnd the U.S. MUST insist that Israel not "annex" land within Palestinian borders!
