27:30 – Is that a smart call? Target "lonely" people? It seems like groups of people have been far more dangerous than the "lone wolf." You know, the people who conspire to lie to police, join police to help criminal friends, have networks of fences and dealers… Perhaps it's just my observation that the police use more energy protecting these "basement dwellers" from gangs and ignorant neighbors, than they do investigating gang / group criminality. Perhaps that's just the low hanging fruit effect from poorly educated police officers. Imagine being paid $70,000 a year just for facing violence; not for any real investigative capability. I suppose the educated detectives who can actually handle evidence or do forensic analysis get paid in the $100,000 plus range? How many police chiefs have practiced forensics? Probably few. It seems the police chiefs are chosen for being popular aka "the team captain" of the old football team or something.
I'm still getting over the facts regarding the mayor of NYC Eric Adams (former police, right?) being investigated for taking bribes from Turkiye. A former cop taking bribes? The former leader of one of the largest police forces in the USA taking bribes? I guess there was no one to hold him accountable. I mean, he didn't live in a basement watching YouTube so no one suspected him of being a criminal.
I'm looking forward to the day that honest police officers can actually call out corruption in their departments (we know the retaliation will continue, power is abused too easily by those officers. Even suggesting they need objective accountability can draw death threats or "selective inability to enforce regular laws and ordinances." ).
I'm still sour from watching Springfield police officers lying about their duties and associations. Actual lying, on video. A young officer lying about not being able to hear music blasting from a garage he walked up to. Probably the same officer that lied about driving by the same garage, and called my phone from his personal phone to say he didn't see or hear anything (when in reality, I watched the street and never saw an officer. A year of harassment covered by Springfields finest…).
Trust of the police depends upon the police being trustworthy, not from a media blitz / campaign. American dependence upon propaganda is truly disturbing. All it would take is an IG or other rep to step in to tell the truth. If the truth hurts too much, disband the courts. If the courts accept lies, there is no reason to respect the police or the judiciary. They're just playing games of perception aka gaslighting.
The very high price for a California ocean view; very expensive houses and apartments that are flooded and very expensive new cars and trucks rusted and junked.
Watch for fault slippage, i.e., earthquakes within 2-3 weeks
