Geez Steve, if you’re so concerned about programs that wasted taxpayer dollars why didn’t you speak up against the weapons-of-mass-destruction lies promulgated by the Republican Bush administration to take us to war in Iraq. And then they threw in taking us into Afghanistan as sort of an afterthought. That war in Afghanistan ended up costing the US taxpayer $300,000,000 per day every day for twenty years (that’s 7300 days Steve). So everybody, whip out your phone’s calculator and do the math: that’s $300,000,000 times 7300. Now what were you saying about spending Steve? Any Republican that tries to be concerned about deficit spending, wasteful spending, increasing the national debt, or Democratic spending needs to just STFU and sit down. Their own history refutes any stance on wasteful spending they might want to try and take. So do you want to talk about lives wasted while we’re at it Steve? I didn’t think so.

Deregulation saved us $4000? That's stupid!, Deregulation is what caused the East Palestine train detainment, how much did that cost us? Deregulation allowed Silicone Valley Bank to not have enough money to cover it's accounts when the account holders tried to draw out their own money, how much did we, the American People, shell out to bail them out? Defunding the IRS is going to cost us billions in lost tax revenue because rich people don't want to pay their fair share.

Wasteful spending? Let's talk about $800 billion a year to defense contractors who stuff it in their pockets, like GE. We could talk about government bailouts of banks like the silicone valley Bank.
