Here in Kalifornia, when minimum wages started to rise well above the national average, the workers were all smiles in Dec before the new year. When the new year came around, many of those workers were laid off because those businesses couldn't survive and went belly up or those that could, just cut the staff and required those who didn't get fired to pick up the slack!!!!
Raising the minimum wage will seriously hurt the retirees living on fixed incomes. The Democrats could care less about Americans, it’s only about power and votes.
