The stock market crashing is actually a much bigger problem than is being told. What isn't being talked about is that many people are giving up on investing, if investing loses legitimacy there will not be a recovery. Something similar happened with the banks after the 1929 crash. My grandpa was born in 1931 and is still alive, he grew up in a penny pinching family that had adapted to the result of that crash aka the great depression. Even now at 91 years old, he STILL has the mentality from those times. He would rather get a $5 turkey on sale and have grandma cook it, (she is also 91) than going out to eat. He will then talk about how much money he saved, but this is after making my grandma who has osteoporosis handle this big heavy turkey. That era is so ingrained into their psyche, even now in 2022 they live by it. The current crash will do this exact same thing to many up and coming investors, especially the younger ones who just lost a lot of money. Even if there is a real possibility of a quick recovery, say a year later, that can all be sabotaged by collective distrust, and the recovery won't happen.

Anyone who does not support the Democrats is automatically called racist, sexist, homophobic. Anyone who runs in an election against a Democrat is called racist, sexist, homophobic and people will come out if the woodwork accusing them of sexual assault. All the Democrats race baiting, hate and division leads to more racism, hate and division and sends a message that it is OK to attack anyone.
