In many U.S. cities, street racing is dominating social media and turning deadly. In Chicago, a 40-year-old woman was killed when one of two racing Corvette careened out of control. The crash comes amid an apparent street racing trend nationwide that took off during the pandemic when the lockdown left streets empty.

(4) Restitution for all financial, physical, damages, destruction, or loss.

This is so ghetto 🤦🏻♂️ Unfortunately, there is Just no way for police to capture all these hooligans during these takeovers. I’ve witnessed these takeovers several times now and everytime they call the police only like two or three police cars show up and they don’t even get out of their vehicles.
There is just no way to arrest all these folks in one place. In my opinion, the city should place high tech surveillance cameras in EVERY intersection so that we can at least catch the license plates of those cars or even capture the faces of those criminals. The city should establish some sort of department or committee that reviews the footage and identifies all those thugs so we can locate them and arrest them.
The January 6th committee literally used videos to arrest hundreds of rioters. I’m pretty sure we can apply the same concept to capture these street racers
