I have a solution. Rather than spend a metric ton of money in order to subsidize people's incomes and in the long run added a metric ton to the national debt. This is going to sound backwards, but hear me out. Give corporations a tax break for compensating their employees at or above the average for that industry. Corporations on the low end will have a money incentive to pay their employees more. This in turn will bring up the average in that industry thus moving the bar a little bit higher incentivizing people in the average category to pay their employees a little bit more. It creates upward pressure for wages. And upward pressure over time will result in higher wages which increases tax revenue. And with higher wages people can actually afford the higher prices without the need to subsidize. In a few years the market would stabilize and you could then cut back on the incentives. Once wages are high it would be very hard for corporations to lower them again without the risk of strikes. With higher tax revenue from higher incomes would result in cities and governments being able to afford expansions and other operations. All-in-all if the government in cities want to raise money from taxes, the simplest and most straightforward solution is to Simply increase how much their citizens are earning and as a by-product will increase the amount of tax revenue they receive. It's basically turning the trickle-down effect on its head. Because the trickle-down effect doesn't work. A pyramid with a crumbling foundation will soon fall. A massive tree with a root system that's being eaten Away by termites will soon topple over. The economy's working-class is the foundation of the economy. If the working class goes we all go.

Inflation is due to the fact that the USA printed dollars without control, now that there is a large part of the world trading in rubles and yuans, that oversupply of dollars decreases the value of the currency, and therefore the purchasing power of citizens. The dollar is weakening because ASIA and Russia have stopped using it as a priority fiat currency.
