It’s getting ridiculous. We are pursuing extreme, painful policies that just don’t deliver.
Case in point: electric vehicles.
If every country in the world achieved its stated goal for EV sales by 2030 (and that’s a stretch), the temperature of the planet would be reduced by 0.0002 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the century.
That analysis comes from a committed environmentalist, Bjorn Lomborg, who used the United Nations’ own climate model!
What is the point? Enormous pain. Virtually no gain!

Climate change has been redefined by those promulgating this agenda. It no longer refers to the actual Climate.
Its in a book published in 1928 called " Genesis Versus ".
This agenda was planned long ago. The term now refers to humanity itself. Meaning, how to deal with population expansion and limiting natural resources to the ones who control the narratives. Here's an example of how its used, " A man is about to enter a boardroom meeting and ask his assistant, whats the climate like" this refers to the population within the room and their overall attitudes. So when you hear of population change in our society by those spewing the term, know they are talking about you and their upcoming plans for humanity.
I never watch FOX stuff; this kind of disinformation is why. China is the largest producer of Wind and Solar-energy producer on the planet. His expert, Bjorn Lomborg, is somewhat of a shill in climate science. And Lomborg and this rant guy take his change in temperature estimate out of context. I really do not care to know his name. I do like Lomborg's arguments taken in full context. This is typical disinformation from FOX and its anti-humanity owners. Sad for our country, most Americans believe this trash and lack of honesty.

Who is this non-scientist, and how did he get a job after failing math? His childish claim that we would reduce the temp by 0.0002°F is a way to confuse the least educated. The difference between an increase of 4°C and 0°C is 4°C or about 7°F. Stewie is comparing today's avg temp with the result, not the difference between business as usual and doing something about it.

Apparently Stewy didn't do his homework: China’s carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions fell by a record 8% in the second quarter of 2022, a 230m tonne (MtCO2) reduction that is the largest in at least a decade.
The new analysis for Carbon Brief, based on official figures and commercial data, shows China’s emissions have now fallen year-on-year for four consecutive quarters, extending what was already the longest sustained decline in recent history.

He's also been investigated for fraud which found "he had broken the rules of scientific practice in that he interpreted results beyond the conclusions of the authors he cited" IE making sh*t up. Second Green policies and technology are market competitive. And much of our current inflation pains are based on our reliance of fossil fuels. So unless Russia plans to cut off your supply to wind and sunshine the argument about it being painful doesn't hold up
Third. Much of China's CO2 footprint comes from producing goods for western consumption. Goods we could easily slap Carbon tax on to a) offset any advantage their shortcut gave them and b) force them to produce in less harmful ways.

Climate change is caused by our Sun itself. Because the sun is dynamic , and changes occur all the time on it, that effects our weather here on earth! The sun has cycles, and even sun spots, that make it's surface temperature cooler. The Northern hemisphere spins exactly opposite way in the southern hemisphere. Solar and magnetic flares causing weather changes too. Yes, climate change makes for good politics.
