Scalise did the right thing. He should have allowed Jordan to be the only nominee in the first place. Like most Democrats, many Republican House members virtually ignore any public feedback. If they all took a minute to forget the cushy little bubble they operate in and consider the public, theyd know that Jordan was the proper successor. Hell, that's why it took 15 rounds for them to shove McCarthy down our throats 9 months ago!
