In a 5-4 vote the Supreme Court is allowing Alabama to use a newly drawn congressional map in this year’s election despite a lower court saying that it violated black voters’ rights. NBC News’ Pete Williams reports.

Note that Chief Justice John Roberts, who spent his career fighting against civil rights, then as a Justice voted to roll them back, voted with the Liberals.
