The first shot missed, Abe simply turn his head instead diving for cover because he never heard gun shot in his life.
The second shot hit his heart ( 3 points clutch shot)!
The camera then zoom out.
It show that the shooter wasn't shooting at point blank. It requires precision and 60% luck

The shooter claims when his father died, his mother inherited his father’s construction company. But his mother fell into a cult and gave so much money to the cult that the company went bankrupt. His original plan was to shoot the cult leader but he could not approach. So when he saw a video message Abe Shinzo sent to the cult, he thought Abe was somehow connected or involved with the cult and decided to shoot him.

Surprised to hear that in Japan in 2021 only one person died in the whole year as a result of a fire arm shooting. Here we Pro Life people that ban abortions but simultaneously resist any gun control legislation to save lives. I think we have had like 20,000 shooting deaths so far in 2022.
