They take your personal information that you filled out and then use it in order to open up bank loans, credit cards and other stuff. They use the information to pretend to be you at the utility and other items and get more information in order to steal your identity.
Shame on you NBC for giving this scammer air time without identifying him.

People don’t like door to door salespeople due to criminals doing the same thing. Then kicking down your door when no one responds.
You see them around my block…nobody answers the doors and you see them walking to the back yard… These people don't learn…knock once and leave…

You don't gotta answer your door for anyone. So no excuse to shoot..And yes there are still door to door salesman. We had a exterminator company come and it was two young guys walking the neighborhood for business. We've had that company now for four years. But he's hiding now. If you did nothing wrong why are you hiding. If he was brave to shoot an un arm N word from his lips. . Then be racist enough to face the consequences. Don't get coward now.

A guy was lost and turning around in a driveway when an old man ran out of his house to shoot him (and "to stand his ground". Here's what the Associated Press had to say:
"A Texas man has been convicted of manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a Moroccan immigrant who had pulled into the driveway.
A Caldwell County jury on Thursday rejected a murder charge and convicted 67-year-old Terry Duane Turner of the lesser count in the October 2021 shooting death of 31-year-old Adil Dghoughi outside Turner’s home in Martindale, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) south of Austin.
Family members of Dghoughi, who lived in Austin, have said he was lost and prosecutors said he was trying to leave the driveway when he was shot. – end –
The sentence: 180 days in jail, 10 years probation. How embarrassing for Texas… 🥀
I don't have to guess who the shooter votes for. None whatsoever.
Every person that has come to my door to sell things in the last 10 years has been a criminal. Not saying this is the case for this person. Just my experience.

Door to door sales use to happen even when i was a kid and I am 45. It is a job always has been. Still is in many rural areas. Its sad that people who won't have retirement coming up now at retirement age worked and have nothing to show for it but feel the need to attack his job. 😂

This is no different than that person recently found guilty for shooting and killing that young woman for the 'crime' of turning down the wrong driveway. I'm not anti-2nd amendment. people asks if there still door sales people, maybe he or she lives in an apartment building, OF COURSE there are extreme amount of door to door sales people, roof solar cells, water purification systems, electricity providers like this guy, I had to go to the extreme to placing a notice on the door "Solar panels seller Please read this message, if my house is the only one in the neighborhood without solar panels is for a reason…I don't want them, I don't need them, I have installed polyurethane foam under 100% of the roof, this reduced my electricity bill 50%, therefore, I won't make perforations to my beloved roof so, if after reading this you still ring my door bell, be sure I will not be respectable with you" Have a great day….so far after about 6 months no one has ring that bell… these sales people used to come almost 3 to 4 times a week drove me crazy
