  1. A classic case of people with too much time and money

  2. Animal communicators (I am one, of many) have conversations with animals. They have a lot to share, know what we're thinking and feeling, and express their thoughts just as we do. Working with lost animals, they can describe their surroundings and help us locate them. The buttons are cute, but there's much more to animal intelligence than pushing buttons.

  3. I love those cat trees in Wilson’s house. They look comfy.

  4. I'm kinda worried if my cat learns to talk . She might rat me out on a few things……

  5. Steve is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE 🥰

  6. My guy Cooter has been ahead of the game.

  7. If you raise and train your animal as you would a toddler, they can learn. I had a cat who was very smart. I bought her a plastic ring toy, with a ball inside. I set it on the floor for her. She sat and looked at it. So I slipped my fingers in the holes along the sides and top, and batted the ball from each side. She watched. When I took my hand away, she copied my moves, and started to play.

She even taught herself to play fetch. Plastic was her favorite. Plastic spoons, forks, straws, and bottle caps. After playing fetch, it was hockey time. Her goal post was under the fridge. I think she could have won the Stanley Cup. One day I moved the fridge, and there had to be about 60 bottle caps under it. My brother, who was helping, almost fell to the floor, laughing.

  8. "Dogs have owners. Cats have staff." 😄

  9. I’m just sitting here wondering why they didn’t put the husky the says the b word 😂

  10. You left out Billi Speaks! 😿🐾

  11. So you trained an animal to press a button when it wants or sees something its no different than when they scratch at the door to go out what's the big deal it's not like they are talking to you they have been trained to press a button instead

  12. I do this with my cat and the dude never stops talking. I love my cat we literally talk to him all the time lol. You can see the genius. I think animals are like children they understand everything and learn words as long as you communicate with them

  13. my doggy talks to me by knotting his head for yes. he huffs and puffs and shows me what he wants. I can tell on the pitch of his bark what he is telling me. he is the smartest dog my friends are telling me. Wau.

  14. The difference between our intelligence and our pets intelligence, is that they are learning to speak our language, and we are still struggling with theirs.

  15. I haven't tried buttons with our dogs but one of them actually says "yesh" when asked specific questions. He apparently just taught himself as I never tried to teach him this trick. He throws his head back a little and mouths the word which actually sounds like a "yesh" sometimes a succession of them if he wants a quick response. It definitely does not resemble a dog's bark in any way and he will only do it for questions he fully understands otherwise he just stares blankly. There are a full range of questions he will answer to and they do not all cover just food, treats or being hungry, they cover walkies and even his toy possessions.
This is crazy really as it is almost impossible to teach a dog to do this. Where would you even start. I have had many other pet dogs but this one is truly unique.

  16. Amazing! I think animals are just as conscience as humans too

  17. This kinda feels like a slap in the face to Christina Hunger and Billie.

  18. Ok so let people file taxes on their pets

  19. It's disappointing to realize that that vet, Dr. Tu, of all people doesn't know for a certainty that animals know their own name. Any anyway, we aren't our name — when you think about it, our name IS simply a way of notifying us that someone wants our attention. If they understand that much, they got it.

  20. Associative concept learning is learning language. It stays at a certain level but that happens with humans also. Some people stay at a fairly concrete level. And that is ok
