I am a widow, I make only 47 thousand a year, I have to pay a 2000 dollar tax bill because I have to file single. No new taxes my a$$.

Seems more like a war on the working class. A war on the people who cannot afford the rising prices due to stagnant wages. Rent has been going up for the past 10 years, automobiles, perishable foods without a minimum wage increase to blame.
Tax base = Value added by business including self-employment + Sales of business assets – Purchases of business assets + Wages and interest paid by government + Social Security benefits including SSI + Other welfare benefits paid in money.
Flat tax = 1/3 of Tax base.
Demogrant = 1/3 of poverty line income for 3 person household = $23030/3 = $7677/year, paid in monthly installments by the US Treasury.
Net tax owed by a household with N members = (Wages + Interest + Dividends + Partnership Income + Self-employment income + Govt. benefits)/3 +N*Demogrant. Parents would be entitled to the demogrants of their children, until their children turned 18.
The only persons required to file a return are those with self-employment income. All other tax would be paid by income payers, who would file nearly all returns.
Payroll taxes would be credited in full against flat tax liabilities.
The only persons with incomes below the poverty line would be persons in 1-2 person households.
We voted these dragons into office. We deserve everything that happens to us. We had a great POTUS, but we REBELLED. Now we are eating doo doo.
