If your so out of control of your kids that they can access and use a firearm, your firearm, its time to consider if you are the right person to raise that child. Disabled or not you are still responsible. And honestly if your kid does have a mental health condition that makes them more likely to do this you as a parent need to step up and take action to prevent it.

Being parents these days sometimes seem so easy. You just throw your children to daycare, schools, or put them on social media and on phones and you have excuses for not paying attention enough to your children when shits happen
So a child with known disabilities had access to a gun, threatened kids and was not detained. Great.
Parents stop being lazy and start parenting your kids. It's your responsibility to raise emotionally mature, well adjusted young adults into this world who are productive members of society.

People need to start realizing THEY are the ones that have to protect their children. Most schools, doctors, nurses etc don’t really care.
