Congratulations Meg on a fantastic, inspirational and classy career. You have been a wonderful player and a cut above as a leader. All the best and maybe we’ll hear from you in a commentary role sometime in the future.
GOAT!
A very sad day for Australian Womens Cricket, Ms Lanning has been a brilliant ambassador for the Sport and will be sadly missed. I wish her well in whatever she decides to pursue in the future, what ever it is she will excel.

Happy retirement MEGastar🌟…Didn't expect this day would come so early…. Imagine retiring at 31 and still having 7 World Cups to your name…one of the greatest ever❤️
The greatest batter & captain ever (male or female any cricket, in fact any sport) has retired. She has a great mind to realise that She has achieved everything being the champion head she is in cricket and there are more important things (privacy, mental peace, personal & global issues) in life to focus on. Congratulations & Cheers for new innings of life Meg ! You are the best that cricket has shown me. Only you have made yourself the Maverick you are, not your family or anybody else (there is nothing called luck). World cricket is previledged to have you. Cheers mate ! 🍻
How many WBBL title she won?
A pioneer for the women’s game. Will be missed
