As wildfires blazed on the island of Maui, some rushed into the ocean to escape the flames. NBC News’ Tom Llamas spoke with two teenagers who spent hours waiting in the water with their mother as the fire burned on land just beyond them.

A mother nature wrath is really scary. But, the mother nature also trains humans to get over and rebuild life after she ends her wrath.

That’s why people should do something RIGHT NOW to stop the climate change because this looks like an apocalyptic scene from a catastrophic movie. This is NOT normal and people should do something right NOW. As a 15 year old, I’m quite scared of my future, of my lifestyle etc. Please, let’s do something before it’s too late !

Never thought of Hawaii catching on fire this bad, I know they got Volcanoes but this is just Catastrophic. Happy this family got thru all this I know they had to been scared especially sharks out in that water to worry about after escaping those fires.
