Teenagers seeking help for substance abuse say they most often turn to drugs and alcohol to de-stress, according to new research published by the CDC. NBC’s Erika Edwards reports on why this generation of young adults are self-medicating their anxiety and depression.

  14. Children turning to accessible forms of treatment due to inaccessible mental health system, overwhelm, and social pressures unlike anything we've ever seen before. It makes sense. And is a very sad reality.

I want to help things have changed I don't want kids to feel like they don't have options when it comes to de stressing I know about the overloading that comes with continual stress and trying to cope .
