In Lincoln County, Tennessee, a black fungus called ‘Whiskey Fungus’ is coating homes, street signs, and more. The residue is being fueled by the vapors from the six barrel houses of one of the most popular whiskey brands in the world, Jack Daniel’s. Now, some residents are suing the company, which plans on pushing ahead with their warehouse expansions.

How crazy. I toured the Bacardi Distillery in Puerto Rico today and the guide pointed out how all the palm trees were black. Same thing. It's not just whiskey, as the placed produced Rum and cause the same thing. I even told my mom I wonder what it's slowly doing to people lungs that work there or live nearby, then this video randomly pops up.

Is is a coincidence JD built these barrel houses all black, including the roof?? Video shows buildings in other locations but these barrel houses, at this location are all black. See video at 0:28 It's as if they knew the bldgs would get covered in black whiskey fungus & didn't want attention drawn to what was growing or clinging to their bldgs. I know their labels are black but just seems odd the entire outside is black.
