I think it is hilarious that the Mexican president mocked Abbott for building a base near the border, claiming that it won't stop border crossings. Which isn't the primary purpose of the base in the first place. It's supposed to be a command center and a rest area for the guardsmen, improving the efficiency of the border guards who DO stop/interfere with illegal crossings. If he's gonna interfere in American politics and military operations, he should at least understand what he is talking about.
