A growing number of migrants are being bussed to the northeast by governors of several U.S. border states. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez reports how now New York City and Washington, D.C. are asking the federal government for assistance.

Sanctuary cities have to raise taxes and open more shelters to accommodate the migrants. Raise property taxes to increase school capacity for the migrant children.
