If this hurt to hear, REMEMBER. And if this made you angry, REMEMBER. And if this made you feel helpless, REMEMBER THAT FEELING WHEN YOU VOTE. We all want our kids safe, no matter who's politics you share. We can put a stop to at least some of this senseless and disgusting gun violence. School is not safe. Churches are not safe. Movie theaters are not safe. Grocery stores are not safe. No place is safe as long as people can use a gun that was designed FOR WAR to shred the bodies of as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time.
We must have:
⚫ Universal background checks
⚫ Red flag laws
⚫ A ban on AR 15 style high velocity weapons
⚫ A ban on the sale of high capacity ammunition magazines
⚫ The legal age to purchase a gun raised to 21
You also have to think about if there was a change that people have connections with other people to get easy access to firearms.

Waste of time on Pledge of allegiance! Seems cops oath just like SCOTUS is worthless! Quit standing for pledge of allegience and national anthem since it is the cowards who want you to stand! I lost a friend due to police stupidity so no anthem for me! They payed out a lawsuit but no one got fired or went to jail! We live in a small town not far from Uvalde. Today I picked my son up from school before 10AM because they had social media threats and 2 kid w a gun hoaxes today and my son was scared and my nerves were fried. They still had a week left and the Superintendent just sent out an email around 430 saying school was over for the year. They just won't go this last week.
The boys are So Smart, the girls are on other planets

Problems aren't with the guns because they are inanimate objects. Problems are people. Just have mental screening quarterly for all kids while they're still under government funded schooling. They do that with kids using ASQ. Just extend that until 18 and provide mental help with kids that need extra help.
"Politics and money are more important than human lives"…These kids knew what they are talking…I could feel the frustration…

Everyone is talking about who is to blame, well here it is:
– The police for failing to rapidly and appropriately eliminate the shooter.
-The family, friends, sister and anyone around him who saw his posts and heard his threats/comments and did not insist on police action.
-The school for it's utter failure to enforce proper security measures to ensure people cannot enter through unlocked doors and murder innocent children.
– The person/people who sold him a gun and those who enabled a mentally ill teenage boy legal access to a firearm.
-The person/people responsible for allowing high-powered weapons to be sold to the public.
-The person/people responsible for his psychiatric care.
-The US government for failing to ensure funding is in place for better school security if the school cannot provide it.
-The shooter himself.

Just like the young lady said, every victim of a school shooting felt safe in the classroom until they weren't. It's a bit sad that they don't realize nobody is safe in this country.
