Off the coast of Sweden on Gotland Island, a road powers and charges an electric bus on the go – wirelessly. The technology was created by Tel Aviv-based Electreon, where they are turning streets into charging pads. It is currently being tested in Sweden, Italy, Germany, and soon on a one-mile stretch in Detroit.

Will the American DOT embrace this new technology?
more radiation
So they sent a reporter to Sweden for 10 seconds of film?
Outrageously optimistic bs
What's the efficiency? How much electricity is lost?
Hmm… the only problem is it would limit where one of these road charged vehicles could travel. I like flexibility and sometimes I drive to the middle of nowhere.
Dreamer in a world of facts, gotta try to distort reality
Ok, good idea. Now take the Lead (PB) pipe from the USA and create Gravity generators that are charged by solar and wind to power them.
Cool idea, but the government won't even spring for EV charging stations, so this will never happen.
Whole thing about electricity is it's generated from the sun, so why we have to pay of course taxpayers money funds the roads, bridges in our cities and States. So why would you be charged for free energy One of the biggest things about going green is It stops pollution and it's free. If it's not cheaper you may as well keep fossil ⛽️ ⛽️ Electricity is cheap till it's not greed takes over
Laughing at those who think copper is a fossil fuel because it deflates their suv truck ego . .. its a mineral guys lol 😆
Remember when you recharge these vehicles it's using fossil fuel
If they have this technology in detroit its gonna get stolen.
The roads in the USA are so full of pot holes 🕳 you can play golf
Or…100% solar powered cars. Would be a whole lot easier & we already have the technology for it. They first made them about 10 yrs ago…then the govt refused to accept them bc it would make gas industry bankrupt.
Brilliant .
Combine self running generators and power walls in homes and businesses for seemingly endless clean energy everywhere all the time. Imagine billions of clean energy sources all running themselves the items around and the power grid.😎⚡
Have a direct connect to the axle of EVs,and solar, to super charge them any time you move. Why isn't anyone doing this? No more plugging in. We could do and be so much better. Why aren't we?
How’s the electric made? Snow, rain salt effect roads.
As are open Border rages on, killer drugs getting in kill100s of Americans and the young everyday, unvetted from all over the world all over America no good, shameful politicians and shameful media coverup.
In India New Electric Scooter complains is Fire on Road,Dilip, Mumbai city
Small towns? Would like to see plastics buried below roads.
It's good to see that the amount of industrial emissions it will take to produce electric vehicles and these charging systems will equal or exceed the emissions of the electric vehicles themselves. Brilliant!
We're don't need every road to be equipped without tech, only certain roads and possibly certain freeways to accomplish this. It's totally possible and the tech is only going to get better so investors listen up". If you have the means to invest" do so, because this is a good money back investment, And a long term one. It's gonna take a generation to convert roads all over the world to this technology. After that it's trains and rail roads.
Feasible here in the US? Of course, but would turn every equipped road into a toll road! Gotta get that life time of taxes going in as many areas as possible !
You ppl are insane lol yuk it's so disgraceful
