Should be age limits and term limits. 72 years old max and 2 terms (just like the president), whichever comes first. If you are 72 or in your 2nd term before the next election then you cannot run again. If you will be 72 before you are sworn into office then you cannot run. If you are going to be 72 after you are sworn in then you serve the term and you are done, even if its your 1st term. If you current term is your 2nd (or you are 72 or will be before the next swearing in) then you are done at the end of the current term. No exceptions, effective immediately. Trump should sign that as an executive order (amongst 1,000 others) on his 1st day back in office.
