  1. How can unstable cops who abuse power determine who needs help gtfoh

  2. I'd be curious to know what people make of the growing trend in the media on the left and the right of making allegations that elements of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (not all Muslims) may be somewhat responsible for 9/11? Such as the well known new York Times, the articles in progressive newspaper " the independent" and Conservative newspaper "the daily telegraph", videos on the young turks and various outher media outlets? If false, wouldn't it lead to an increase in hate crimes against Muslims? And if it is true, what is being done about it? And if nothing is being done about it, wouldn't this be seen as security for a few at the expense of the security for the many? Who is being protected by not declassifying and publishing the documents the usa government holds? Who does the cia serve exactly? because its not the American public and with many western intelligence agencies as well, who are world class, it is hardly plausible that they don't know some of what is going on

  13. HOMENAJE A LA PROSTITUCION GENOCIDA EN ESPAÑA.

  14. Are they helping them get housing? What happens to their belongings? I don't think them losing sentimental items will help their mental health at all. They need to have camera vest on when dealing with the homeless. Some may not have mental health issues but a mental breakdown because of homelessness.

  15. NEWS.
THE CONGRESS IN SPAIN APPROVES THE GENOCIDE.
    END.

  16. If these programs are really as helpful as advertised they should be voluntary. If you have to force someone to do what’s best for them you probably don’t have any idea what’s best for them. People are themselves the most motivated to live comfortable, healthy lives. The mentally ill and homeless are no exception. Develop productive programs with longevity and they will gain the positive reputation they deserve. Involuntary anything is just an unethical shortcut to pro-social behavior.

  17. 🎉🎉🎉👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  18. Hospitals will go bankrupt and nurses will quit

  19. Now pigs can take you in and abuse this power.

  20. As a former mental health employee some police agencies can issue a emergency Psychological Evaluation based on behavior and the psych department at a hospital can evaluate fully. That means the person is taken to a hospital in cuffs for safety not arrest.

  21. A police officer cannot diagnose you to be mentally ill. Or else why can’t we just diagnose ourselves without doctors? This is insane. Hope this implies on officers as well if we think they’re mentally ill

  22. I live in NYC and always wondered why dont they build many insane asylums like before, its definitely needed out here. To whoever does not like the plan well than let a couple of those crayzies move in and live with you 🤝💯

  23. good to take crazy homeless people off the street

  24. They need to have this in every state. But, I don’t know where they are going to put them all. Besides, involuntary psych admissions only last for 72hrs.

  25. Next stop, overfilled hospitals and centers, doors closing: this is gonna cost the tax payers

  26. I know that too many l.e.o.s are not ready yet to be l.e.o.s, and someone is guaranteed to be victimized by this plan of Mayor Adams. Too many l.e.o.s are too immature, and they are lacking a sufficient appreciation of conscientiousness. Also, they aren't sufficiently caring about it if someone has been misdiagnosed as mentally ill. This plan of Mayor Adams is causing intelligent and/or vulnerable people to have serious concerns.

  27. They can start with the Governor and the Mayor!

  28. News headline in a few months: "NYC Homelessness and vagrancy down 1000% – Mission Accomplished!"

  29. NYPD cannot be ENTRUSTED with such powers , just look how they did NYPD PO Adrian Schoolcraft

  30. This whole thing being done by Mayor Adams is inconsiderate, inhumane, and very arrogant. The amount of people who are actually mentally ill are just a minority among the too many people who are diagnosed as mentally ill, e.g. there are several people who suffer from a neurological problem, and not a mental illness, but they are treated as though they are mentally ill. Also, just because a person is homeless/destitute does not automatically mean that they are mentally ill. Too many psychiatrists are greedy and they don't appreciate conscientiousness. Most psychiatrists in the U.S., who are foreigners, don't understand many aspects of having American ancestry which goes back several generations. Too many psychiatrists don't actually care about vulnerable and/or good-natured people. Without justification, the mayor might disenfranchise certain people who aren't mentally ill by putting them away in psychiatric hospitals, and he'll do nothing about making sure that they get the re-enfranchisement/satisfaction/reputation which they are entitled to have. This whole thing which the mayor is doing is increasing disparities, and it's causing those who are privileged to be de-incentivized to be actually trustworthy or admirable. The mayor should, instead, focus his attention on doing more against impaired drivers, drug dealers, speeders, those who harass and/or threaten, extremists (both leftist and rightist), addictions, child abusers, sex offenders, assailants, thieves, etc. Ideally, Americans should become conscientious, and we need to eradicate medical misdiagnoses from our midst. Ideally, Mayor Adams should be decreasing the authority which psychiatrists have been wielding, and he needs to make sure that no one is ever misdiagnosed. Mayor Adams is doing the opposite of that which is ideal. Hopefully civil rights groups, and all intelligent/considerate people will defeat him in regards to what he is doing.

  31. I hope these cops do this in groups. Those mental ill homeless are unpredictable.

  32. Mentally well person…never saw one

  33. They’ve always had that ability….this isn’t new….look up NY Mental Health and Hygiene Law……Adams is jus trying to reinvent the wheel!! We wouldn’t have this issue if the city state had been doing this properly all along!!

  34. This is a good thing but I know this will be abused and innocent people will get caught up in this.

  35. LEO will be exempt from this new rule

  36. This is the way things used to be. This is not a new idea

  37. We're NOT here to endorse police with all power?authority to hospitalize "possible mentally ill" people in public. However, disorderly conduct is inappropriate then should be assessed. We no longer tolerate harmful actions toward self or others.

  38. New York City needs to reopen mental health . Long-term.. facilities.. Where these people can get proper care.. housing. medication . Meals. Supervision That they desperately need…. Reopen Pilgrim State !

  39. So cops decide if citizens are mentally ill ,what could go wrong.
