He was already rich before this. He didn't know anything biotechnology. He was in no position to understand that this crap would not work. Elizabeth used him to bail her out with his money. Look at her current boyfriend and look at Sunny. She was using him. And then she threw him under the bus and tried to blame everything on him. Simpin ain't easy. He'll be in his 70's when he's released. Elizabeth will still have a life left when she's released in her late 40's.
If you looking for Money & power get elected to office that's where the games are played & anything outside of that has severe penalties cause your not in the club.

Wow. 13 years in a real prison and trump has done so many more egregious crimes than simple defrauding investors. If it were up to me, way back we we discovered Trump colluding with the evil empire (Russia), I would have sentenced his head be separated from his body under a falling blade of steel in a public domain, just like the good old days.
