This interview is an objective, pragmatic discussion of the statistical data and the failures of public policy of The Great Society. When Kudlow asked the question of why, in the face of these failures, the Dims continue to expand the welfare state, unfortunately Gramm didn't give the obvious answer. The answer is that the more people the Dims can make dependent, then the more power and elected office they can grow. It's a double slap to conservative values and individual liberty that voters are being put on the Dim payroll using taxpayer dollars!
