Boeing aint the only one, Ford GM Stelantis all have the same issues aint no one talking about, quality control is out the window since 2007 the ceos and stock holder making money while the assembly line gets cheaper
We exported pollution and jobs overseas, don’t even know how to fix a pothole anymore. My offroad camper made in USA with 90 percent foreign parts mostly China. We have plenty of talkers, investors, lawyers, bankers produce nothing. Incredible isn’t it😅

The journalists talking should have had more of a science-technology background t be able to comment intelligently on the Boeing problem.
Nobody is talking about the June, 2023 FAA bulletin on the MAX…..The de-icing system needs to be turned off when the plane reaches clear air. If it’s not turned off within 5 minutes, the engine cowling can blow off and potentially penetrate the fuselage. This is UNIQUE to the MAX. There are no warnings built into the system. Pilots are having to put a post-it on the dashboard and reminders on their phones to remember to do this? INSANITY, and this is illustrative of this problem running deeper than just manufacturing line errors/escapes. This is an engineering problem.
Who at the DOT is on the take? This isn't all Boeing, though they are too greedy now and aren't prioritizing quality over profit.
Ashamed of the American manufacturer
crappy union maint. lazy phucks
One of the best aircraft Boeing built was the 757 and they stopped manufacturing it because it was too good and was taking customers away from the old 737 line. They decided to stop production of the 757 and decided to just stretch out the 737 completely insane! Not only that they purchased McDonnell Douglas to shut it down!
The nose wheel fell off a 31yo plane! Namely when someone changed the tire, the forgot to tighten the "lug nuts" properly!!!
When Boeing and Mc merged, they recovered the cost by lowering the quality. These are not the end of failure, many more are coming….. Amen
Don't forget the disastrous KC-46 Boeing tanker. 22 years and they still haven't worked things out. The problems are too lengthy to mention here. So are their "charges". At least Canada avoided the turkey and bought the Airbus A330 MRTT.
Alaska Airlines CEO, "Boeing is better than this…" umm, no they're not, obviously. Not anymore.
Never let bean counters run the business
Boeing's problem = management.
When you replace Enigneers with Wallstreet type guys, greed and profit is a recipe for disaster.
Now imagine flying domestically in Russia.
Let’s see what could be causing the problems, Fox News: greedy Republicans that create culture wars so that they can retain power to loosen anti monopoly laws, combined with reducing taxes to defund regulatory bodies like the FAA and decimate federal services like Air Traffic Controllers. Hmmm.? It seems like you don’t mind low taxes and shitty streets until your caboose has a stake n the race. I love seeing these anchor f ups sweat now that their lives are on the line. Now all of sudden they are worried. But when asked to pay taxes for everyone else’s needs and safety it’s the old Party greed.
When a company’s leaders and executives are beholden to shareholders instead of customers.
Neither Boing nor FAA has the skilled staff to handle this.
No one thinks about the ethics of the Boeing P8 Poseidon either…. Mistaken identity was the cause of the 2013 incident in Tehran.
These presenters are not human, they can’t be. Well one of them was on the ball. (Boeing is a government company)All of the talk is wasted because the problems are simple. Fire the board, move back to Seattle, bring back sacked employees and listen to what they say. Lastly don’t take orders that you can’t provide. America is desperate to save the Boeing name but both the country and that company represent the downfall of an empire in decline.
Easy…. Mergers and acquisitions supported by shareholder capitalism. With greed and bloated C level Ego.
All the airlines are receiving hit pieces every week because they're releasing killer earnings. Straight market manipulation, by who? who knows…
I only fly on carriers who use AirBus . Skully can bring one with no engines into a river and everyone lives . I Thats the bird I wanna be on .
2:49 When the theses hit the fan, it's a good time to buy.
This is all because they only care about wall st. Tax them.
incompetent lazy dumb stupid mechanics 💩🤦♂️🤡😈🤦☠️💀, no amount of managing can fix that
What you see at Boeing today are merely Harry Stonecipher's chickens roosting. He was the man who lead Boeings transformation away from the brilliant engineering firm they were, to a bean counter focused company. All the outsourcing of critical departments was Harry Stonecipher's doing. Boeing's trouble started when they merged with McDonell Douglas and Harry Stonecipher took over as CEO in 1997
More than a decade dummy.
Boeing CEO can restore credibility by saying: "If another plane has a major issue mid flight that risks lives, I will surrender to authorities, be taken into custody and face criminal charges".
diversity hire
watch the movie Fallout, it tells the whole story
The problem is many of these companies, Boeing, Honeywell, etc. are now managed by bean counters instead of engineers who have raised through the ranks. This is a results of boards listening to Wall Street. The leadership is now measured by the stock price, stock goes up as you reduce your cost. Quality is considered a "waste" in Lean management, and we are seeing the results.
"Boeing is better than this."
No, Boeing was better than this.
As was said years ago, Boeing didn't by McDonnell Douglas. McDonnell Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing's money.
Boeing, the engineer managed company no longer exists. "Boeing" exists in name only.
Oh wow, the Alaskan CEO said the same exact same thing with the same cadence in another interview. Show pony
Isn't Alaska Airlines the burned pot calling the kettle black? They knowingly kept using the plane even after pressurization warnings kept going off from previous flights. They just restricted flights to over land in case something happened. . .
Boeing screwed up, they should screwed tied first.
This is what happens when corporations hire through DEI instead of merit system. How many passengers will have to be endangered before Boeing gets its act together.
Boeing has killed a lot of people in the last 30 years, but oh how fast we forget about all those lives. DC-10…anyone remember when those were crashing and killing hundreds of people!? 737 max…they tried to blame the pilots of several planes that literally crashed themselves despite pilots trying to pull up. The company is broken.
I wonder what FOX is trying to cover up with this BS story?
Forced hiring of DEI employees.
Muehlenberg destroyed Boeing.
Airbus in Europe is rubbing their hands together counting the dollars
Maybe it is their dei program.
