Presented good faith facts and the definitions of his case, a twelve year old could learn to recognize that Donald Trump has committed felony crimes. Grown men and women, "professionals" and "public servants" who have forged and cemented their personal identities within the MAGA party (as if nothing else mattered in their lives or in the world) have surrendered their intellectual functions to a diatribe and campaign of disinformation multiplied and disseminated by FOX (fake). Many of them continue to think themselves no longer responsible for upholding all applicable personal/legal constraints both as citizens and legislators supporting a nation of laws. Don't believe it? Just listen to James Comer's statements again and try and get your head around what he is implying and all that he has suggested. Where are the adults?
Republican James Comer's comments are disingenuous. He is essentially threatening or working on the justification tied to a promise to retaliate for a perceived wrong. He hasn't the maturity in him or the sense of responsibility to present his statements in a neutral and analytic way. He is not urging caution or speaking to the consequences of poor judgement. He is like a man on a warpath. His remarks amount to pandering to rowdy others within his party who can't help themselves. The FOX (fake) interview featured above is irresponsible and the very last thing that loose cannon MAGAs or other violent people need to view. Where are the adults?
If belligerent MAGAs (or any other belligerent faction) determines to dismiss their sanity and responsibilities as elected officials to pursue this avenue for counterproductive competitiveness, it's then up to a judicial system and the steel nerves of individuals functioning as a neutral counterbalance to end it. For as long as our political/judicial officials and appointees surrender to this level of disfunction, we will be paralyzed as a nation and by our collective ignorance, our fears and yes, maybe even our own violent tendencies.
