When politicians exhibits medical issues, it is time for them to be removed from office. Term limits, and age limits particularly when health issues are exhibited.
The problem is not ability to function or age, the problem is that Biden wants bad things to happen to our country. He can function well enough to do this, but he should not do it. Obama wants the same things, and he is not too old or senile, he is just bad.

in my country, there are term limits for senators, and they are elected by proportional representation any way, so not really elected by the will of the people or first past the post. The house representatives have no term Iimits but none seem to stay beyond their early seventies, and besides, in pre-selection voting for a candidate, a sitting member may lose their candacacy for a seat, because the branch members in that seat wants to replace the sitting member. This is easier in my country, because the motivations for replacing or selecting a candidate, are to do with how well the individual politicians represents the party's policy platform in parliament rather than having to jump through the quid pro quo hoops put there by the election donors, which we do not have. Electioneering costs are borne by the federal government via the electoral commission a permanent standing body to oversee election integrity. Every person eligible to run for office, gets the same amount of money to conduct their election campaign with.

I do agree with you 100%. Everyone is different. You mentioned congressman Grassley. Their is no slowing him down and he shows no decline. I hate talking about people that are not there to interact, but biden has completely lost his ability to do the job he has really hurt America, and all the other things that's up to others to make that decision. Do I think he should, yes. Some of the allegations are terrible, and if they are true then he should be held accountable. The whole family, it's pretty dating what they have found out. We need term limits. Politicians shouldn't be elected and serve for life.
That said, the real problem is with voters. Ancient or infirm relics like Biden, Feinstein, Fetterman, Pelosi, McConnell, etc, wouldn't be in Washington DC if voters simply had the maturity and wisdom to stop sending them there.
