maybe if they are confident in moving public opinion toward industries that they have an early foothold in they can make money without needing to know the accounting numbers and business practices are sound. its a powerful money making tool to get into developing industries/technologies early before they have a chance to mismanage their funds and go bankrupt. so if you can help persuade people to look towards the "future" and you got their first you don't have to look in the current climate you just have to steer people toward your next big thing.
