The Trump administration had taken action to soften the impact of energy price increases due to the economic recovery following the pandemic by expanding the number of drilling leases in the US. Trump had approved the Keystone pipeline before the pandemic because he understood energy costs are a primary driver behind economic health. It's not rocket science…if the price to transport bread to market rises the cost of bread rises. The VERY first thing the Biden administration and it's radical left environmentalists did was to cancel many of the Trump policies put in place to protect Americans wallets and jobs from surging energy costs. There are Democrats out there saying things like "energy in Europe is high too, so it's not just an American issue" and that's a flat out deception. Energy costs have always been higher in places like Europe because they lack the natural resources of the US and have to import, as well as having much higher tax and regulation fees on their fuel. America is, and always has been rich in natural resources like oil. There's simply no question that Biden cancelled the Keystone pipeline and many of the drilling leases Trump had signed to protect American fuel supplies. Make NO mistake and don't be deceived by people trying to create cover for the current administrations failures, Biden is 100% responsible for the state of rising energy costs in America.
